His art work has been shown in multiple institutions, museums, and off-spaces throughout the Netherlands and Germany, in groupshows, fairs and solo presentations. Most notably the GEM Museum for Contemporary Art (The Hague), Centraal Museum (Utrecht), Vrije Universiteit (Amsterdam), De Ateliers (Amsterdam), P/////AKT (Amsterdam), Expodium (Utrecht), Gemeentemuseum (The Hague), Academiegalerie (Utrecht), Westergasfabriek (Amsterdam) and Konsumat (Berlin, a short-lived art space he co-founded).
The year-long Startstipendium by the Fonds BKVB was granted in 2008-09, and along the Royal Award for Painting in 2008, his work also recieved the Award for Arts and Science from the PUG Society in Utrecht in 2007.
Many reviews have been written in favour of his work, appearing in daily newspapers such as De Volkskrant, NRC Handelsblad, Het Parool, BN De Stem, and De Groene Amsterdammer. A number of catalogues include his work, such as HC On The Move by Expodium, Violence Can Be Lovely by Studium Generale Utrecht, and Offspring by De Ateliers.
